Alright folks, for those of you who don?t know the story, I bought a 92 SI civic hatch w/ a b18c drag 3 kit from my friend last week. The car was a theft repair and I?ve been dumping money into replacing the ecu w/ a hondata, the seats, rims, stereo and alarm.
Test driving it on the road last weekend I discovered that even just barely boosting on the motor the cabin would fill with white smoke and the stench of gasoline and oil could be smelled. My mechanic and I adjusted the valves, changed the oil and plugs. When we revved it up and we could actually see small droplets of oil splattered behind the exhaust. Because it was never in boost and we?re seeing smoke and oil we believe that it?s likely a problem with the valve seals. Needless to say we?re pulling the block today to get some further information and maybe spend some cash for an engine build up. It was kind of expected as the engine has almost 100,000 miles, I?m the third owner and has been boosted for an undisclosed amount of time w/ nitrous and then a turbo. It may be time for a rebuild. My question is what should be replaced / refreshed while the engine is apart? Pistons and rods of course, bearings and a new gasket set is a must but what else? I?m trying to spend as little as possible but still have a setup which will not require me to do this for a very long time on 8 ? 12 psi.

I know this is kind of ambiguous but I?m just trying to get suggestions and ideas before I start spending some serious cash.
